DIA Celebrates South Australian Fellows
Rosina Di Maria and Mandy Goehr
The Design Institute of Australia recently honored two exceptional South Australian members with fellowships during a special ceremony hosted at Bang & Olufsen's Norwood showroom.
Rosina Di Maria, Principal of Woods Bagot's Adelaide Studio and Global Client Leader, was recognised for her distinguished career spanning Europe, Russia, and Asia before returning to Adelaide. Her award-winning portfolio across workplace, hotel, residential, and civic sectors demonstrates her strategic, human-centered approach. Di Maria's leadership extends beyond design through her board appointments with JamFactory and Carclew Youth Arts, and her contributions to the National Gallery of Australia's refurbishment.
The ceremony also celebrated Mandy Goehr, whose 35-year career in hospitality design has produced award-winning venues throughout Australia. Goehr's expertise in challenging client briefs and creating innovative spaces that balance brand significance with clientele needs has established her as a leading industry expert. Now working part-time after nearly a decade as a Director at Studio Nine, she continues to bring her expansive skillset and passion for design detailing to every project.
The DIA extends its sincere appreciation to Bang & Olufsen for providing their elegant Norwood location to honor these remarkable design professionals.
