Design Institute of Australia

DIA is the national membership organisation for designers in Australia, advocating for the profession and its practitioners across disciplines, industries and all stages of a designer’s career.

Through advocacy, leadership, and access to networks and resources, DIA supports designers to thrive creatively and commercially, while strengthening the contribution of design to the systems, services, products and environments that shape the nation.

By bringing together designers with the people, businesses, educators and institutions that commission, employ, educate and promote design, DIA collectively builds Australia’s reputation as a globally recognised design nation.
