VIVID Emerging Designer Awards – Finalists Announced
The DIA has been a long term supporter of the VIVID Emerging Designer Awards. Curated by Latitude Group’s Daniel Dalla Riva FDIA, VIVID Emerging Designer Awards has already assisted over 1,000 designers with more than 1,300 products to kick-start their careers.

Judged by a panel of prominent and respected industry figures, finalists will exhibit their work at the VIVID Emerging Designer Awards Exhibition at Decor + Design from 13th-16th July 2023.
Awards categories include Furniture Design, Lighting Design, Object Design, Concept Design, the Authentic Design Alliance Award of Merit, the Dulux Award for Colour, the 2023 Judges Choice Award and the 2023 Student Design Award. VIVID Emerging Designer Awards is Australia’s longest-running design competition. 2023 marks the 20th anniversary of this highly anticipated industry platform which shines a spotlight on our emerging and early career furniture, lighting & object designers.

The 2023 VIVID Emerging Designer Awards will take place at the Melbourne Exhibition Centre from Thursday 13th July – Sunday 16th July. The Awards ceremony will take place at 3pm on Thursday 13th July. VIVID Emerging Designer Awards has advanced the careers of many prolific Australian designers including Nicole Monks, Edward Linacre, Adam Markowitz, Dale Hardiman and Dean Norton … and is the leading award program for emerging and early career Australian designers.
