The Architecture Symposium: All eyes on Brisbane

  • State Library of Queensland Stanley Place South Brisbane, QLD, 4101 Australia (map)

The countdown to the 2032 Brisbane Olympic and Paralympic Games has begun, and with it comes the most ambitious infrastructure investment in Queensland’s history. How can architects leverage this once-in-a-generation opportunity and contribute to great urban design that caters to local and global expectations?

In this symposium, 18 speakers from Australia, Canada, the UK, France and the Netherlands will explore both macro and micro design interventions in city making, reflecting on lessons learnt from previous events, and investigating the industry’s perspectives on the possibilities of the Olympics.
