Design is at the heart of any great dining experience.
When done well, each part combines to complement and elevate the food, drinks, and hospitality; the space, lighting, furniture, branding, music, and atmosphere all come together to tell a story.
DIA ACT is excited to offer a unique hospitality experience Dine & Design; an evening of great food, great wine, and great Canberra design.
Dine & Design unpacks the design story of iconic Canberra restaurant Such and Such through a unique presentation event, bringing together each design collaborator to take us on the journey from concept to completion and how collaboration developed into the final result.
We will be joined by Such and Such restaurant owner Ross McQuinn, interior architect and designer Mark Brook of MYMYMY architecture, furniture designer Tom Skeehan of Skeehan Studio, and graphic designer Tim Lynch of Inklab. These talks will be interspersed with Such and Such’s signature food and wines for an unforgettable night of shared meals, stories, and creative conversation.
This is a unique opportunity for the Canberra design and hospitality industries to come together and celebrate collaboration, inspiration and community.
Please specify dietary requirements at checkout.
For DIA Accredited Designers, attendance at this event is worth 4 CPD Points.
DIA Community events are presented with the support of our Community Partner Clipsal.
