DIA — Talks: Inclusive Design Series #2 USE

  • Steelcase 75 Elizabeth Street Sydney, NSW, 2000 Australia (map)

The DIA NSW Branch Council is delighted be hosting the Inclusive Design Series, a program of lectures and interactive workshops emphasising inclusive design principles in daily design practices.

Join us to learn about physical and cognitive inclusion and how to incorporate these principles into your design practice. This event will share practical tools and strategies, including ethnography, co-design, and unbiased decision-making, to help you design for inclusivity.

Moderated by Eloise Cleary and Nila Rezaei, NSW DIA Council Members, our guest speaker includes Scott Brown, Assistive Technologies Lead, Creative Robotics Lab, UNSW.

The DIA believes in understanding our personal and professional biases to ensure everyone is represented in the design process. Whether you're an industrial designer, interior designer, graphic designer, or student, Use Inclusive Design is the perfect opportunity to learn, network, and be inspired by inclusive design

DIA members and students: $40 +BF & GST
Non members: $80 +BF & GST

As part of the DIA’s Accredited Designer program, we offer Continuing Professional Development (CPD) through our learning resources. CPD is most effective if undertaken continuously to ensure a currency of skills and knowledge. Attendance at this event is worth 2CPD points.

This event is being generously hosted by Steelcase
