Design Gallery is a boutique interior design house founded in 1995, specialising in commercial interior design across Australia and internationally. With a strong focus on the fast-paced and highly competitive retail and hospitality sectors, we deliver tailored solutions for individual clients, corporate chains, and franchise businesses.

Our studio, nestled in a serene, leafy property in Burpengary, is home to our close-knit team of three Interior Designers, an Office Manager, and our Director. We are seeking a skilled, enthusiastic, and experienced Senior Designer to join our team!


Primary Scope of Responsibilities

  • Meeting clients and interpreting design briefs

  • Concept design for client presentation including form, structure, and finishes

  • Creating 3D concept renders with Enscape

  • Preparing technical documentation packages with Revit


Secondary Scope of Responsibilities

  • Collaboration on design projects with team members

  • Leading and assisting the design team throughout projects

  • Crosschecking team members' documentation packages

  • Liaising with clients, shopfitters, architects, retail design managers, engineers, certifiers, contractors, and suppliers

  • Project timeline management 


Essential Skill Requirements

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in Commercial Interior Design or Interior Architecture

  • A minimum of 5 years industry experience in the commercial design field

  • Advanced proficiency in Autodesk Revit and Enscape

  • Comprehensive understanding of sound design principles and techniques

  • A flair for design and concept development

  • An extensive portfolio of past works

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and people management

  • Impeccable time management skills

  • Drive, motivation, and energy!
