DIA Nominations Committee Vacancies
The DIA is seeking applications for its Nominations Committee that recruits member elected directors on behalf of the National Advisory Council (NAC).
Member Appointee – a senior member of the DIA.
Independent Appointee – a person from outside the membership bringing external governance and / or recruitment experience.
Both are voluntary appointments for a two-year term. The expected commitment is around twelve to fifteen hours a year, with a heavier load during the election cycle. The DIA Nominations Committee is the body that identifies and assesses candidates for election to the DIA Board, reviews sitting Directors whose terms are expiring, and advises on the skills the Board needs. It sits under the NAC and works at arm’s length from the Board, which is precisely what allows it to do its job well.
