Swinburne Free Public lecture.How does one create a look and feel that is uniquely Chinese but also attractive to an international audience of millions? In this talk, HANG Hai and some of the team members from the Art Research Centre for Olympic Games (ARCOG) at China Central Academy of Fine Arts in Beijing will describe the process of designing for the 2008 Olympics. They will focus on the use of traditional Chinese arts and script (jingwen) to create innovative approaches to the Beijing Olympic's designs.
