Eckersley's to sponsor ASDA industrial design category.
The DIA is pleased to announce that the national art and crafts supplier Eckersley’s has been confirmed as the new sponsor for the industrial design category in the DIA’s ever popular Australasian Student Design Awards (ASDA).
Eckersley’s has 23 stores across Australia, and is offering the first prize winner of the 2010 ASDA industrial design category a $1,000 Art & Design Supplies voucher, with the second prize winner receiving a $500 Art & Design Supplies voucher.
The DIA-organised ASDAs are a long standing and highly regarded student competition, attracting top quality entries from tertiary design students and institutions throughout Australia and New Zealand.
Competition is fierce, with students battling it out for a large prize pool and the honour of having their prize-winning work exhibited at designEX in Sydney or Melbourne each year.

Budding designers can also enter an Eckersley’s design competition with the chance to win tickets to the Semi-Permanent design event in Melbourne, plus airfares, accommodation and an Eckersley’s shopping spree.
