2010 IDA closes soon.
The 2010 Australian Interior Design Awards entry program closes on Friday 12th February.
Celebrating excellence in residential and commercial interior design from Australian designers and architects, the not-for-profit awards are co-presented by the Design Institute of Australia, designEX and Artichoke magazine.
Now in its seventh year, the annual program generates many thousands of dollars in publicity for entrants and provides Australian-based designers with recognition for their work at the highest professional level.
On-line registrations for the 2010 Interior Design Awards are now open at www.interiordesignawards.com.au.
Entry submissions will be accepted until Friday 12th February for projects completed between 1 September 2008 and 31 December 2009.
The presentation of awards will take place at the Sydney Town Hall on Friday 23rd April 2010, coinciding with the Australian Institute of Architects’ national conference and designEX.
Judging is conducted under the supervision of the Design Institute of Australia and 2010 jurors are Chris Connell, Chris Connell Design (Vic), Susan Freeman, Freeman Ryan Design (NSW), Dean Jones, Colonial First State Global Asset Management (SA), Angela Layton, Arkefield (Qld), Simone Oliver, Geyer (NSW), Jonathan Richards, SJB Interiors (NSW), Debbie-Lyn Ryan, McBride Charles Ryan (Vic), and Kirrilly Wilson, John Wardle Architects (Vic).
The Jury Convenor is Francesco Bonato, MDIA, FRAIA (Director, Tectvs SA) and the ESD Award Chairperson is John Gertsakis, WSP Environment & Energy.
